IVR invites nominations for the Jack Ovenden Award 2017

The Institute of Vehicle Recovery is inviting nominations for the 2017 Jack Ovenden Award for ‘Outstanding Student of the Year’. Instructors are asked to recommend students who, in their opinion, have shown enthusiasm and dedication during their training and are worthy of receiving this prestigious award.

Following their recommendation trainers will be asked to submit details of the student, plus a brief summary of why they are nominating them, to the Rescue  and Recovery Trainers Association (RRTA), who administer the award on behalf of the IVR.

The RRTA committee will then decide the nominees who will be invited, with their spouses/partners, to the IVR Gala Dinner at the Crowne Plaza, Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday 4 March, where the winner of the 2017 award will be announced.

For more information and confirmation of the closing date please contact Sean Buckley MIVR, chairman of RRTA, at sean.buckley@themansfieldgroup.com

Please note - instructors are not required to be a member of RRTA in order to nominate a student.
