COVID-19 Key Worker ID Cards
Following the latest emergency COVID-19 meeting spearheaded by PROF, the IVR wasted no time in producing free industry Key Worker ID cards in anticipation of possible even tighter Government control measures.
The purpose of the cards is to ensure workers can be identified as recovery key worker personnel whilst travelling to and from work or when working. They highlight that rescue/recovery personnel, as transport workers, have currently been given key worker status under the COVID-19 emergency measures.
The card is a physical card and does not need special software to read it, but will need drivers to clearly write their name on it, and to carry their driving licence or DQC card with them.
To obtain your free copies for your roadside rescue/recovery staff please email mail@theivrgroup.com. You will need to provide the names of the staff you would like a card for and the address you would like them delivered to.
The cards are valid until COVID-19 emergency measures cease or until the Government changes the ruling on transport workers, so keep an eye on the IVR website news area, social media, PROF website or check in with your work providers to see when they are no longer valid. www.theivrgroup.com.
Although the cards are free, donations to Recovery Industry Support Charity (RISC) would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Vijay at RISC 01707 282 930 to pay by bank transfer, or send a cheque payable to Recovery Industry Support Charity and mail it to the IVR to forward on.
